I finally had that “ah-ha!” moment! and everything started to fall into place
If you were to believe even half the hype you read, then you would think that it’s easy to make money on the internet. All you need to do is buy the courses offered by the so-called “gurus” and follow their instructions and the money would start to flow!
Unfortunately it didn’t happen that way! The gurus with their established reputations, massive mailing lists and hundreds of super affiliates working for them certainly seemed to be able to make money at the drop of a hat.
But for the average internet marketer, this sort of income seemed a distant dream – or even a nightmare, if like me, you had spent thousands of dollars on many of these programs that promised you untold wealth.
However, I didn’t want to give up as I had managed to make a little money – certainly not enough to quit my day job, but I could see that there was definitely some potential there. And I wasn’t going to be a quitter, as internet marketing offered me the sort of financial freedom that I had always wanted.
I had delved into most of the popular methods of making money online such as Adsense, Pay Per Click, Bum Marketing, eBay, Article Marketing, CPA and etc. It seemed that every time a new program was released promising buyers the holy grail of financial freedom, I would drop whatever method I was using at the time and throw myself into this new program.
This is one of the great mistakes of internet marketing – it is far better to stick with one method or program and concentrate all your energies on that rather than continually changing to the next big system available.
