While there are a good many techniques to list building, not all of these methods are good or effective. In this article we will talk about a few great tips that you can use to build your subscription or opt-in list and take your business to a higher level.

The easiest way for you to grow your list is to make it super easy for people to opt in to your list. It might sound too easy but the easier it is for people to fill out your form, the more people will sign up for it. There are lots of new IM’ers who think that the more information they get to begin with the better able they will be to market to their opt-ins. That’s not typically true. The truth is that, to put someone on a subscriber list, all you need is an e-mail address; sometimes even a name is unnecessary! That said, being able to personalize the e-mails you send out is a good thing so you should always ask your prospects for at least a first name to go with their e-mail addresses. That’s about it.
