Okay, let’s lay down the ground rules right from the start – I am going to cut through most of the usual Hype that you have probably seen so far… and give you an honest and up-front review.

So what makes Rank Builder different?
First off let me say I first started using Rank Builder in early January 2010… so I’m not just going to give you a rehash of the sales page…
When you first open up Rank Builder, it will also open up Internet Explorer 8 (and soon it will also work with Firefox). In the early versions of Rank Builder it used its own browser, but through extensive testing the developer found that was far better to interface directly with a fully fledged browser.
The first thing you will notice about Rank Builder is its simple interface, especially when most of the competing software programs almost require the equivalent of an airline pilot’s licence to operate them. However, don’t make the mistake of equating simple with less powerful, this software is very potent!
Config Tab
The first step you need to take is to fill in your details on the Config tab:
The most important fields are the Website Registration Information fields where you will fill in a username and password for creating the various web 2.0 accounts. If you don’t have any preferred registration details, then you can click on Auto Generate to automatically generate a username and password.
If you live outside the US then it is recommended that you use a US proxy as some of the web 2.0 layouts will vary from country to country – so simply fill in your Proxy Info.
If you want to use an automatic Captcha solving program then you can ecter your Decaptcha or Death by Captcha details or simply select the Manual Captcha option!
You will also need to fill in your registration details for Hostmyrss.com (for RSS submission), Ping.fm (for Link Booster operation) and Onlywire.com (for Social Bookmarking) – click Save Changes and you are good to go!
Email Tab
Here you can automatically create email registration details and then automatically create a Yahoo email account. You can also use a gmail or other email accounts, but you will need to enter these details manually.
Now all your settings are complete, so you are ready to start creating some web 2.0 properties.
Select Sites Tab
Here you can select the web 2.0 properties that you would like to register with, you can click on Select All or be as selective as you like. Then click on the Register Websites to start the automatic registration process, which you can monitor in the Internet Explorer window.
**Sometimes the program seems to get stuck on some pages, so if this happens you can click on the Skip button to continue the process. While this is helpful, it would be better if there was also a pause button that allowed you to enter any required details manually before continuing.
After the registration process is finished, wait for a few minutes to allow any confirmation emails to arrive into your email account, before you click on the Email Verification button. Once all the web 2.0 registrations have been confirmed we can now look at submitting some articles.
Article Tab
Here we enter our spun article, using the standard spin syntax (Spyntax). The article Title, Tags and Content can all be spun to provide you with multiple variations. Your spun articles, which should be prepared in a dedicated Article Spinner can easily be copied into each of the appropriate fields shown.
I usually include 2 links within my content and Rank Builder makes it very simple to incorporate you web 2.0 interlinking with the use of %PREVIOUSLINK% to create your standard linkwheel or the preferred option of %RANDOMLINK% to produce a more natural looking network of links.
You can Preview your spun article to make sure everything is correctly formatted before you do your submission. If everything looks okay then click on the Submit Article button and then watch the program go to work in the Internet Explorer window!
The URL’s of all the successfully posted articles will be listed in the Links tab. Now that the articles have been posted to the web 2.0 properties we can go ahead and start getting some backlinks to them, boosting their link juice and getting them indexed faster by the search engines.
Link Booster Tab
In this tab, Rank Builder will take all the URL’s in the Links Tab and submit them to Hostmyrss.com to create an RSS, which it will host. Rank Builder will then submit this newly created feed to the 10 RSS Directories listed in this tab, giving you 10 backlinks to each of your web 2.0 articles that you just submitted.
The second step is to click on the Ping.fm Submissions andRank Builder will submit all the URL’s in your Links tab to the 40+ Social Networking websites that Ping.fm uses, giving you 40+ backlinks to each of your web 2.0 articles.
You can also manually enter a list of URL’s that you would like to give a Link Boost to.
Social Bookmark tab
Fill in the Website Title and URL that you would like to bookmark, then click on the Bookmark button and Rank Builder will interface with Onlywire to bookmark your site to 30+ Social Bookmarking sites.

There are some very powerful forums available that allow you to include links within your signature providing some powerful backlinks for you. Profile Link Builder helps automate the process of signing up or registering at these forums which can be quite tedious when done manually.
The software comes with an extensive list of forums, but you may be better served by using your own list of forums – there are always some excellent forum lists available on some of the better IM forums.
The software is capable of operating with multiple personalities or identities via spinning and you can also spin the profile information to avoid leaving any footprint that could be identified.
To be honest, I haven’t really used this module to any great extent as I am already a contributing member of a number of high ranking forums and tend to be quite selective when signing up for forums.
